About Debatt rf

Debatt is a NGO based in Helsinki. Our purpose is to:

• Promote and develop public interest in social, cultural and scientific issues
• Stimulate debate and discussion on these themes as well as,
• Encourage and offer an expanded range of popular scientific publications of good quality.

The association’s activities are not limited by any specific subjects or disciplines, instead we are advocating a multidisciplinary and multisectoral approach.

The association pursues its objective by;

• Promoting the study of the social, cultural and scientific issues,
• Organize lectures, talks, discussions and events,
• Planning and  and organizing courses
• Conducting research and analysis, issuing information and publications,
• Directing initiatives as well as writing reports to various authorities,
• Cooperate with other similar associations both nationally and internationally
